What is Fairytales for Porridge?
Fairytales for Porridge is an online children's book store. We sell children's picture books to raise funds to feed, clothe and shelter children living in poverty stricken conditions in Africa. All of the proceeds from items sold on this website goes to Delta of Hope International. Pictured below is Royson Solly.

Due to the dire poverty and the uncertainty over receiving another meal, some of the children at Victory Kids Educational Center and St. Austin Academy bring two cups to fill with porridge the days they are served porridge.

These beautiful children have real hopes and dreams. When asked what they want to be when they grown up they give a respond with ambition and say things like doctors and teachers. One of the goals at Blessed Hope ministries is to support the children’s hopes and dream and encourage them to live their lives for God.

The testimonies we have heard from teachers is that the feeding program is a great blessing to the schools and the
community at large. It has enhanced school attendance and increased concentration in class. As a result, there is
much improvement in class performance for many pupils.
